Welcome to our BC Culture Days Hub for the Oceanside Community on Vancouver Island. Here you can view the diverse and inclusive roster of events that are being offered by multiple organizers from Nanoose Bay to Bowser during the three weeks of celebrations. Parksville is the Official Kickoff City for BC in 2024 and we are hosting the Opening Day event at Jensen Centre in Parksville on Saturday, September 21st from 11 am until 4 pm. After the opening ceremony there is an Artists Village, a Cultural Village, and a Children’s Literary Workshop on-site for all to enjoy. Over the course of the next three weeks we will be presenting the Community Mural Project, the Steampunk Miniature Recycled Metal Sculpture Workshop, the Exquisite Corpse Gala Unveiling Evening, the Dotun Popoola Project, and the the Art Banner Crawl,

There are a host of ancillary events connected to our Hub here so please browse the offerings so you can plan your activities for the duration of Culture Days. There is something for everyone to enjoy, celebrate, and learn from. Family Fun for Everyone and more.
