À propos

Our collection of Art Banners gracing the light standards in the Downtown Business District in Parksville is growing.! This year we will be adding three new colourful Art Banners for 2024, bringing the total to 11 banners. This is like a treasure hunt because all participants will follow a map to locate the Art Banners while “crawling” through the downtown area. Stop into the local shops for a cup of coffee or to purchase a gift. There are plenty of little boutique type shops to visit. It’s a nice walk and you begin and end at the McMillan Arts Centre. The M.A.C, has 3 galleries and a gift shop filled with unique pieces by local artisans. You may choose to ride a bicycle, drive a car, or stroll with a group of friends and family. Once you locate all 11 banners, bring your map back to the M.A.C. to receive your gift. Banners remain up for the foreseeable future and we plan to continue adding to the collection each year. Enjoy these unique works created by local Artists.
