Learn more about the world of Fibre Arts! This exhibit explores how artists use natural fibres such as wool, cotton, silk, wood, straw and repurposed textiles to express their passions and deeply felt emotions through art. Two and three-dimensional art pieces will have been felted, carved, weaved, sewn, crocheted, knitted, assembled, and formed and left for the viewer to explore and wonder.

The Arts Centre Gallery is open Monday to Thursday 9am-9pm and Friday and Saturdays from 9am to 5pm.

Vernon Community Arts Centre

The Vernon Community Arts Centre focuses on arts education for people of all ages and abilities, and showcases the work of local artists. It is also home to the administrative offices of the Arts Council of the North Okanagan, the non-profit society that operates the Centre.

The Arts Centre offers a variety of classes, camps and workshops for beginner, intermediate and professional artists. Specialist Studios are available for members, allowing them access to tools, and equipment for pottery, glass arts, printmaking and a variety of 2D artforms such as painting and drawing. We showcase and sell local art and carry a selection of art supplies.
