About

The Sundog Festival’s Saturday Kick‑Off in Polson Park is a joyful, community‑driven celebration that begins with the Unity Walk—featuring an Elder welcome, horses and riders, a drumming group, kids on bicycles, and hundreds of participants moving together in the spirit of connection and Reconciliation.

Once in the park, attendees will enjoy a full day of live music, an artisan market, food trucks, and the lively Funtastic beer garden. Families, youth, and festival‑goers of all ages can explore hands‑on creativity, meet local makers, and soak up the vibrant atmosphere that sets the tone for three weeks of Culture Days in the North Okanagan.
