Meet Me in the Park is a free, accessible Culture Days gathering that invites people of all ages and abilities to come together in Polson Park to sketch, paint, dance, or simply enjoy creating alongside others. This relaxed, community‑focused event prioritizes social connection—participants are encouraged to talk about their art forms, share ideas, and learn from one another in an open, welcoming environment. Whether you bring a sketchbook, watercolours, movement practice, or just your curiosity, you’ll find a supportive space to create, meet new people, and experience the joy of making art in the park together.

The Arts Council of the North Okanagan is Vernon's hub for all things Arts and Culture, representing over 30 diverse member groups and over 3000 individual and family members.
ACNO is a registered charitable non-profit organization, and promotes hundreds of events throughout the year, provides opportunities for artists to show and sell their work, delivers arts education through the Vernon Community Arts Centre, and acts as an ambassador on behalf of all community arts based initiatives.
