About
The Oakville Sculptors & Woodcarvers Guild is a vibrant group of artists who meet every Thursday at 1:30 PM at Queen Elizabeth Park Community and Cultural Centre to explore the art of carving in wood and stone. Our members create everything from wildlife and nature scenes to automobiles and abstract designs, using techniques like relief carving, wood burning, and even stone sculpting. We're always eager to welcome new members and share our craft with the public through live demonstrations and community events. Whether you're an experienced carver or simply curious, we invite you to drop by, see us in action, and discover the joy of shaping raw materials into beautiful works of art.
