About

This workshop introduces participants to the art of mosaic tile making, inviting them to construct vibrant compositions that reflect the patterns, symbols, and designs from their cultural heritage under the "The Colors of My Culture" theme. Utilizing acrylic tiles, stones, and adhesives, attendees will create cohesive mosaic panels inspired by traditional motifs such as folk art geometries, architectural tiles, or symbolic emblems tied to their personal or communal identities.

The City of Brampton held an open call for proposals seeking program leaders working in all art forms to deliver community engaged arts programming during Culture Days. This open call invited expressions of interest from artists and arts leaders with a project budget of up to $4,000. Happy Hands Pottery & Art Studio was one of the successful applicants and the Cultural Services Division at the City of Brampton is proud to support this workshop.
