About
Artist Leeay Aikawa collaborated with the OCPA community to create the artwork for the three external murals installed on the building of the theatre. Through simple yoga-inspired stretches and a brief meditation, community members were invited to a therapeutic state to express their felt emotions and immediate energies in the form of gestural sketches. These sketches were collected and scanned to compose a new final image.
