About
The artist says about her installation, "Lucky Numbers (2019), is an installation of a wall of fortune cookies that addresses such notions, and forces us to reflect on our belief or disbelief in the information that is presented to us on a daily basis. The oddly placed golden fortune cookies among the grid-patterned installation not only relates to how we question the world around us and how we question art, but it also presents itself as a message that the viewer has to dissect and find meaning within. I often gravitate towards objects that are overlooked and underestimated, using my practice to highlight a deeper meaning and the importance of their existence. The viewer has the option to look for the deeper meaning or move on, a very common but versatile decision that we are
all often faced with over and over again."
