About

ART Display Public Art Exhibition featuring KIM LECKEY - FIBER ARTIST Sea Woven x Salvaged Found, & Foraged “Sea Woven x Salvaged”

With a degree in fashion design from Toronto Metropolitan University, Kim (aka. Sea Woven) is a passionate artist and creator who has had the opportunity to work internationally in New Zealand, Central America, and California. Now residing in Ucluelet and Tofino BC, Kim merges her love of the ocean and macrame with sustainability in mind to create her own style of fiber art. She specializes in using recycled, upcycled, and marine debris material to construct unique macra-weave projects that reflect the intricate timelessness of the West Coast shorelines.

*Please note: the Qualicum Beach Library is open Monday to Thursday from 10:00am to 8:00pm and Friday to Saturday from 10:00am to 5:00pm. The library is closed on Sundays.
