Film screening and Producers talk

About

Help us kick off Culture days! Join us at Berwick Qualicum Beach for a free and intimate screening of RiverBlue followed by a special Talk and Q&A by Roger Williams producer and screen writer of this Fast Fashion classic. RiverBlue is an award-winning documentary narrated by water-supporter Jason Priestley that follows internationally-celebrated river conservationist, Mark Angelo, on a journey that uncovers the dark side of the fashion industry. Spanning the globe to infiltrate one of the world’s most polluting industries, and speaking with fashion designers and water protectors world-wide, we look at how our clothing is made. This groundbreaking documentary examines the destruction of our rivers, it’s effect on humanity, and the solutions that inspire hope for a sustainable future. An exquisitely crafted, fascinating, emotional and moving documentary, RiverBlue will have you asking your favourite brands how your clothes are made. There is limited seating so please pre-register for this screening.
