About

September 23 RE-CO FAIR & Clothing Swap 2:00-4:00 pm Berwick Qualicum Beach

Choose to reuse repair and reclaim before you replace. Learn more about how to restore some of your favourite garments through the slow stitching and repair cafe's movement. Join us for our free clothing swap! Bring 3-5 articles of clean clothing you no longer wear, and trade them for a new outfit! Being fashion forward can have a positive impact on the environment, and your bank account. Practicing the 5 R's of sustainability, refuse, reduce, reuse, repurpose and recycle will allow you to make your choices more sustainable. This fun afternoon will educate on these principles while inspiring change in perspectives on consumption.

Exhibitors will include Oceanside Repair Cafe, Bare Eco-Refillery, and Professional Fashion Designer, Stylist, & Zero Waste Specialist, Margie Preninger BSc. FIT, of KLōZHAUS™ Design
