About
Chinese dance has thousands of years history and was developed as a way to share stories, communicate feelings and emotions. In this presentation, we will showcase different types of Chinese dances at Oakville's Town Square.

Oakville Oriental Arts Club
Our group, the Oakville Oriental Arts Club is a non-profit entity, composed of volunteers who are passionate to share, learn and promote Chinese cultural arts, through Chinese folk dance and Tai Chi practices.
Although our weekly in person lessons were put to a halt due to Covid-19, our club adopts to hold dance classes online to keep our learning spirit going and our common goal achieving. We believe that, dance as a way of staying active, and being connected with the community is beneficial for our overall well being.
