About

Maria offers the following about her artistic practice:

“I started painting during the COVID time. There was not much to do during that time and my soul needed hope and beauty. Except for some online courses I am mostly self-taught. Most of the time my work is an expression of nature, sunlight and the bright colours of seasonal changes. I really hope that my art will inspire the viewer to be bold, explore and get in touch with nature. It is my firm belief that there is beauty in everything that surrounds us.”

A vibrant and impressive community within the Greater Toronto Area (GTA), the Town of Oakville is a beautiful lakeside town with a strong heritage, preserved and celebrated by residents and visitors alike.
