About
Have fun and explore your musical side with Bandology’s percussion workshop! Learn the basics of rhythm and melody through bucket drumming, how to hold drumsticks and play different patterns on the buckets. No prior music knowledge is necessary, just a sense of adventure and a willingness to try something new. Suitable for ages 6 and up – adult participation is very welcome! Bucket drumming is a part of our new Music Workshops, a one-hour musical experience that’s great for birthday parties, family reunions, neighbourhood get-togethers, girls’ nights and corporate team building. Pre-registration is required.
Once you’ve had a turn at bucket drumming, we encourage all the moms and women present to learn about the music sport of a cappella singing from our friends at Circle of Harmony. This is an information workshop, not a singing workshop. The women of Circle of Harmony are part of a unique chorus that sings four-part harmony in the barbershop style. With members ranging in age from 20s to 80s, Circle of Harmony is a chorus of women dedicated to learning and performing quality four-part harmony with a caring spirit that shows their love of singing. Find out more about Circle of Harmony at www.circleofharmony.ca.
