About

For 190 years, Knox Presbyterian Church Sixteen has served the spiritual and religious needs of the early Scottish settlers. Situated at the entrance to what is known today as Lions Valley Park, this heritage church is an excellent example of the churches that were built in Upper Canada in the early 1800s.

The tour of Knox Sixteen church will provide a glimpse into the past. Led by a costumed interpreter, participants will be introduced to the early Scottish ministers as well as what a church service would have entailed. The tour will also highlight the various stages of architectural design of the church building, including the early gothic revival that was prominent in churches built at the time.
