The Oakville Sewers Forum will showcase a vibrant mix of demonstrations and hands‑on creativity. Guests can watch members explore Sue Spargo embroidery techniques (Sue Spargo not in attendance) and see how sparkling gems are applied to skating dresses.

A series of quick‑to‑sew projects—perfect for leftover materials like scrunchies—will be available as a fun workshop activity. Visitors can also learn the art of mending, including hemming, repairing, and sewing on buttons. Children are invited to contribute to a communal creation using needle, yarn, and beads. The event also features an exhibition of beautifully handmade and hand‑sewn items, celebrating the skill and imagination of the sewing community.
