About

Learn how to create handbound books that can be used for journals, sketchbooks, or zines. Okanagan Artist, Silmara Emde, will demonstrate the basics of bookbinding using tools and papers you already have around your home. Demonstration will be held at the Vernon Community Arts Centre on Wednesday, September 28 between 6pm-8pm.

Vernon Community Arts Centre

The Vernon Community Arts Centre offers arts education for people of all ages and abilities, and showcases the work of local artists. The Arts Centre offers a variety of classes, camps and workshops for beginner, intermediate and professional artists. Specialist Studios are available for members, allowing them access to tools, and equipment for pottery, glass arts, printmaking and a variety of 2D artforms such as painting and drawing. We showcase and sell local art and carry a selection of art supplies.
