Culturefest 2026 or as we like to call it - The Big Event! Join us on October 3rd from 1 - 5pm in Millennium Park, Bancroft for an afternoon celebrating all things culture and arts with the groups that are at the heart of the Algonquin Arts Council. On stage at the Bandshell, there will be performances from The North Hastings Community Band, The North Hastings Community Choir, participants from the North Hastings Music Festival and the Joyful Ringers Handbell Choir. In the park there will be booths representing The Art Gallery of Bancroft, A Place for the Arts, The Mineral Capital Concerts, The Bancroft & Area Studio Tour and the Bancroft Art & Craft Guild. There will be plein air painters, art demonstrations, watercolour workshops and art talks. The Bancroft Lions Club will be BBQing some tasty treats for purchase.
