À propos
Come and experience the iconic sound of bagpipes and drums of the Paris Port Dover Pipe Band during a performance at the Lions Park Stage in Lion’s Park, Paris, Ontario from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. The band consists of all skill levels, from beginner to professional, and all ages, from youth to senior. Paris Port Dover Pipe Band participates in community events, parades, competitions, shows, and even international events. Check out the various instruments that members perform with, such as bagpipes, snare drums, tenor drums and bass drums. Audience members will be encouraged to ask questions about the instruments and the type of music performed and get hands-on experience with the instruments. We will also explain what it takes to get to the level of playing required to participate in all the events PPDPB offers to its students and members. All ages are welcome to participate.

Organisateur
Paris Port Dover Pipe Band
Paris Port Dover Pipe Band is a not-for-profit community organization. The mandate of Paris Port Dover Pipe Band (PPDPB) is to provide young people of any skill level with instruction in Scottish music and gives them the opportunity to play with the band. We teach youth how to act as ambassadors for Canada, the province of Ontario and our local Brant and Norfolk Counties. We strive to educate on the importance of giving back to local service clubs and non-profit groups by assisting with various ceremonies, memorials, parades, and events through band performances.
