A Night of Experimental Film, Sound, and Tactile Media Play – Step into a world where obsolete technology sparks new creation. As part of Ontario Culture Days, NAC will present Analogue Futures —a one-night-only event, a culmination of projection and performance combining the creative energies of XCAVATE III (a six week series of workshops introducing analog media to artists and filmmakers) and a hands-on Drop-In Media Lab. Wander through a repurposed space transformed by loops of found footage, raw slides, and handmade soundscapes. Led by emerging artists and experimental filmmakers, this immersive happening invites you to witness and participate in the magic of cast-off media machines enlisted to create contemporary art works.
