À propos

Multi-talented is a word easily given to Elaine, a sewer, quilter, knitter, crocheter, who added weaver and spinner to her list of accomplishments a decade ago.

From her farmstead, she hand spins and dyes wool yarn from the fleeces of her own sheep. Inspired by the beautiful land that surrounds her, she has a fondness for the pure soft white and grey colours of the sheep's wool and the soft tones produced with the natural dyes.

Elaine loves to knit colourwork hats and other accessories, often using her own hand dyed and naturally dyed yarns. She weaves fabrics to create garments items that can be used around the house.
