Explore the world of screen printing with local artist Christine Kashuba. Step by step, you will see how ink is pressed through a stenciled mesh screen to create a printed image on paper and fabric. This is the perfect introduction to one of the many printmaking classes offered at the Vernon Community Arts Centre and a technique used extensively throughout a wide range of industries.

The Vernon Community Arts Centre focuses on arts education for people of all ages and abilities, and showcases the work of local artists. It is also home to the administrative offices of the Arts Council of the North Okanagan, the non-profit society that operates the Centre.
The Arts Centre offers a variety of classes, camps and workshops for beginner, intermediate and professional artists. Specialist Studios are available for members, allowing them access to tools, and equipment for pottery, glass arts, printmaking and a variety of 2D artforms such as painting and drawing. We showcase and sell local art and carry a selection of art supplies.
