À propos

Join artist David Foster for 15-minutes to have your portrait drawn in pencil, live at Culture Days! At the end of the session, you will be able to take your hand-drawn portrait with you.

David Foster's main art initiative is his animated cartoons, which are the focus of my efforts, including employment and artistic efforts. Having said that, he engages in other activities to establish and promote my animated cartoons, in both the community and abroad, as he is the primary promoter of my truly independent and original animation, which is self-funded. In 2005, he received two grants, one from the Ontario Arts Council and the other from the Liaison of Independent Filmmakers of Toronto, to complete my six-minute 35mm animated film, which he completed in 2008. In 2020, he completed a five-minute full-colour animated film which was sent to 99 film festivals worldwide, receiving 16 recognitions ranging from Best Animation through Best Religious Short, to Selected and Finalist.

A vibrant and impressive community within the Greater Toronto Area (GTA), the Town of Oakville is a beautiful lakeside town with a strong heritage, preserved and celebrated by residents and visitors alike.
