Irene is the owner of Sliabhin Custom Apparel and a woman of many talents, all of which have been learned in the traditional way, from mother to daughter and as an extension of the needs of her families life.
She creates custom apparel by commission, offers sewing service to repair everything from vintage lace to boat covers, military uniforms to outdoor gear, boots to cushions, and is a weaver, spinner, crocheter, knitter and upholsterer of small pieces of furniture. There is little that she cannot fix or make!
Stop by Irene's shop in the village of Lyndhurst during the tour to see what ready made apparel is in stock, or to chat with her about your needs.
