Join us for a Creative Gathering, a relaxed and inspiring Culture Days event inviting artists of all backgrounds and skill levels to gather in beautiful Polson Park for a day of live creative connection. Whether you're an artist, writer, or performer, this is a wonderful opportunity to create outdoors while surrounded by community.

Bring your own materials and find a spot in the park that sparks your imagination—along the creek or under the shade of towering trees. This is not a competition or formal workshop, but rather a chance to create in good company, share ideas, and enjoy conversations with fellow creatives in a welcoming environment.

This event is all about building connections, celebrating creativity in public spaces, and enjoying the simple joy of being creative together. You are welcome to drop in and stay as long as they like. We encourage informal chats, spontaneous collaboration, and lots of curiosity. You might discover a new technique, find inspiration in someone else’s work, or even spark a future project together.

Creative Gathering is free to attend and open to creatives of all types. Please bring your own supplies, including easels or portable tables if needed.

Arts Council of the North Okanagan

The Arts Council of the North Okanagan is Vernon's hub for all things Arts and Culture, representing over 30 diverse member groups and over 3000 individual and family members.

ACNO is a registered charitable non-profit organization, and promotes hundreds of events throughout the year, provides opportunities for artists to show and sell their work, delivers arts education through the Vernon Community Arts Centre, and acts as an ambassador on behalf of all community arts based initiatives.
