The Old Stone Mill, will be providing guided tours (free will donations accepted). A bread baking contest will take place at 11am. Sales of bread and flour will be offered in the Gift Shop, along with local preserves and handcrafted items. Music will be provided by Run of the Mill, a fiddlers group from noon to 1, and 2 to 3pm. Grinding of Red Fife wheat will begin at 1pm, with our miller, Chris Wooding. Blacksmith demonstrations will be ongoing throughout the day.

At the Old Town Hall (accessible building and washrooms available), there will be a used book sale, canteen and free children's activities hosted by the Rideau Lakes Public Library. As well, Patricia Josefchak will be launching her latest mystery in her Gemstones series. There will be a Harvest Festival dinner at 5:30 ($15 reservations at [email protected]) and a poetry reading at 7pm (free will offering in support of the Old Stone Mill) with T. Anders Carson, International award winner and John Brantingham, Poet Laureate, Sequoia National Park.

At the Delta Fair grounds, there will be a car show at 10am, vendors in the main hall from 9:30 to 3:30. A canteen will also be available. Music provided by Texas Tuxedo from 10am to 2pm. Harvest Festival Dance from 9pm to 1am. Parking is $5 per vehicle.

Lower Beverley Lake Park Campground will be offering wagon rides from 10am to 2pm (weather permitting).

St. Paul’s Anglican Church will be hosting an open house with refreshments.

Delta Legion will be offering Octoberfest sausages and drinks during the lunch hour.
