Participants will work with local artists and storytellers to explore the many aspects that make us special such as our culture, ethnicity, heritage, family structure, ability, and interests and how they can relate to all of the other people around them. Facilitators will provide hands-on immersive artistic experiences for children and their families where they will explore all the things that make them unique while also exploring the beauty of diversity. Printable materials will be provided to complete a take away item to remind them of the value of diversity and how we celebrate the differences in cultures as well as the wonderful ways that we are all connected.
