About
Located at 1942 Wyandotte St. E. in Windsor the Artspeak Gallery has been a feature of the Walkerville area for over 20 years. The Artspeak Gallery is organized and managed by the Arts Council Windsor and Region (ACWR).
Three different exhibitions by local artists will take place at the gallery during ONCD:
Sarah Morris: Sept 18 to 25.
Meaghan Sweeney: Oct 02 to 9.
Martha Franco: Oct 09 to 16 .
Additionally, on Saturday Oct. 8, you are invited to come to the gallery to participate in the collective development of the message that will be posted on the New Voices billboard from Oct. 15 - Nov. 15th. New Voices is ACWR's new 6 x 6-foot billboard located on the external wall of the gallery, right on the alleyway. The billboard, which features interchangeable letters, offers the possibility to showcase text-based exhibitions and experimental poetry installations. This event will be part of series of activities organized by the ACWR celebrating Windsor’s unique culture and sonic landscape emerging from the city’s historical connection to the automotive industry
This event is organized by ACWR staff Alejandro Tamayo, Ostoro Petahtegoose, Claire Baldwin, and Madeline Doornaert.
More information about the event will be announced on ACWR's website and social medial channels.
