Are you 50+? Join us at ArtSpeak Gallery this Wednesday, September 23rd from 10:30am - 12:00pm during Ontario Culture Days for our monthly Tea & Chat!

Tea & Chats are a part of our ACWR Community Arts Program, and are monthly conversations that explore, arts, culture, ideas, and community stories over tea & coffee. They are hosted by local community members that have professional experience in the arts and culture field.

Host will be announced closer to event date.

ACWR Community Arts Program 2026:

The Arts Council Windsor & Region (ACWR) is proud to announce the return of the Senior Community Arts Program for its third year, a free monthly program dedicated to empowering and engaging adults aged fifty and up.

Through skill learning Workshops & community based Tea & chats, participants are invited to connect, learn, and share creative experiences in a welcoming and inclusive environment.

This free program will run monthly, from June 2026 – December 2026

This program is funded in part by the Government of Canada’s New Horizons for Seniors Program.

The Arts Council Windsor & Region (ACWR) is a community arts council and art service organization that serves all disciplines of individual artists, arts organizations, and non-arts partners in promoting, developing, and realizing creative activity since 1980. The organization provides the Windsor-Essex Region with valuable services, like ArtSpeak Gallery, professional development workshops, the New Voices program, free space arts residencies, individual grant consultation, an in-office resource library, a website which hosts updated resources, a community arts calendar, and the weekly ArtsNotes newsletter.
