Parkland Writers Alliance

Tricia Friesen Reed is a writer, educator and storyteller with international experience in teaching and community development. She leads writing workshops for both adults and children and her own writing has been published in literary journals, magazines and her blog. Tricia lives in Yorkton, Saskatchewan.

The Parkland Writers Alliance is open to all writers, from those starting out to those already published. Over the years, the club has supported writers by reviewing work and consulting with them as well as holding readings, workshops and presentations by noted Saskatchewan authors. Highlights include monthly meetings, the annual Story Slam competition, and a night to celebrate poetry and fiction called Pen to Page.
