About

Literature and arts connect, intersect and reflect in this distinctive book club. Join the virtual discussion with PAMA and Brampton Library Staff with this month’s choice, The Innocent: Book One in the Beneath the Alders Series by Lynne Golding. At the book club, join Jim Leonard, PAMA’s Regional Archivist, for a presentation on Brampton landmarks mentioned in the book series. The virtual presentation will be followed by a discussion of the book.

Registration required with Brampton Library (limited spots available). Once registered, you will be contacted by Brampton Library staff to schedule curbside or in-branch pickup for the book while quantities last. Meetings will be held virtually through Zoom.

Peel Art Gallery, Museum and Archives (PAMA)

PAMA is a place to explore and learn about Peel Region’s culture and heritage, as well as use conversation, questions and stories to help make new and fascinating connections to the surrounding community. Throughout the year, PAMA offers a variety of workshops and programs for all ages, families and adults. With so many different programs to choose from, PAMA has something for everyone. Operated by the Region of Peel, PAMA is located at 9 Wellington Street East in Brampton. Visit pama.peelregion.ca to learn more.

PAMA is temporarily closed as it is undergoing a significant upgrade project to improve airflow in the complex to enhance visitor experience and ensure the safeguarding of collections. PAMA will also be taking this time to revisit permanent exhibitions, conduct community consultations and refresh spaces. PAMA will remain closed until early 2022, while remaining active with online programing, community partnerships and virtual and outdoor exhibitions.
