About

"A Whale of an Afternoon" gives children ages 5 to 8 the opportunity to unleash their creative side with Baby Beluga as their guide! They will do some watercolor painting, air dry clay modeling and creative movement using dance ribbons. Along with the masterpieces they create the participants will get to take home watercolors paints and ribbons to have more creative fun at home. A parent or some other significant adult in the child's life are encouraged to attend with the participants.

Prior to retirement Janet spent most of her career facilitating Parenting Education classes and literary programs such as "Come Read With Me", "Alphabet Soup" and "LEAP BC"
