About

'Celebrating Autumn Equinox' will give children ages seven to ten along with a parent, the opportunity to learn about Autumn Equinox and then to commemorate the occasion with two crafts. The first will be a glass gem suncatcher to capture the beauty of the daylight hours and the second will be an Autumn leaf decorated lantern to celebrate the nighttime hours.

Organizer

Janet Sharpe

Before my retirement my career included facilitating Parenting Education classes, presenting as well as training others in literacy programs such as 'Alphabet Soup', 'Come Read With Me', LEAP BC', and 'Story Sacks'. I am also a nationally certified trainer for 'F&ST' (Families and Schools Together). Since retirement I love having more time to spend with my grandchildren and volunteering with various community organizations.
