About
The St. Catharines Museum is a great place to spend an afternoon! Admission is free during the Culture Days weekend.
Enjoy permanent exhibits illustrating the history of St. Catharines and its people:
The Welland Canals,
and Follow the North Star (The History of the Underground Railroad).
Temporary exhibits include:
Outbreak: the Spanish Flu,
Victorian Tweets,
Blowing Our Own Horn: The Niagara Symphony Orchestra at 71,
and the Mack School of Nursing Alumni Photo Exhibit.
During your visit also check out the Ontario Lacrosse Hall of Fame & Museum and the Welland Canal Lock 3 Viewing Platform.

The St. Catharines Museum & Welland Canals Centre is located at Lock 3 of the Welland Canal and includes the Welland Canal Viewing Platform, the St. Catharines Museum Exhibition Galleries, Merritt's Mercantile Gift Shop and several room rental spaces.
