About

Take a Walk on the Art side. Community Art Walk is a self-guided walk between 600 block East Hastings and 800 block. Visit 3 galleries along the walk and visit Lobe Studios which will have an open house between 1-3 p.m. and MakersLab which will give a tour at 2:30 p.m. Along the way visit our sponsor Prototype Coffee, next door to Gallery 881, and get hyped by seeing chocolate and desert artistry with Hype Chocolate. Lobe Studios is a sound studio experience where you can feel sound as the studio has speakers built right through the walls, and floor. For a haptic and cool experience, drop in and visit them. MakerLab will give a tour at 2:30 p.m to visit. Perhaps you can see that you can with their training and help learn to be a maker! See it and envision the tools are there to make your creations a reality. Visit unique local art at the Fazakas Gallery and grab lunch over at Eden Cafe.

Organizer

Pigeon Den Art Collective

PIGEON DEN ART COLLECTIVE

The Pigeon Den Art Collective is an "gathering place" where individual artists, writers, educators, producers and various organizations, both formal and informal, can create, present, promote, and encourage dance, visual arts, theatre and the related arts. We seek to invite collaboration between different artists to create works that invite social, and cultural change, and that support community-based art in all forms.

Purpose

We nurture the interconnection between art and cultures, time and space.

Vision

We envision art that has the power to build bridges, foster dialogue, deepen relationships, and advance a more equitable society.

Mission

Through the arts, we are able to create dynamic experiences that open hearts and minds and allow for new ways of seeing ourselves, each other, and our diverse histories.
