About
Visit the Ladysmith gallery which will be showcasing large scale acrylic abstract paintings on wood panel by artist Ellen Brandson. The artist will be on-site daily, demoing abstract expressionist painting. Enjoy a creative art experience and hear the stories behind the artists work and what inspires the colours, shapes and patterns. Interaction with the artist is encouraged.

The Arts Council of Ladysmith & District (ACLD) is a not-for-profit, volunteer-driven arts organization dedicated to supporting, promoting and developing the arts in Ladysmith and surrounding areas. Its core mission is to enhance the vitality of the artistic community through activities that educate, exhibit, engage, create, communicate and celebrate art. The council operates programs, gallery spaces, workshops, classes and major events that bring art to life in the community.
The ACLD also runs the Ladysmith Gallery, hosting monthly exhibitions, artist showcases, a boutique of local art, and special guest shows.
