About

Join us at Gateway Theatre for a FREE BC Culture Days event, The Flame: Storytelling Showcase!

Spend an evening listening to powerful, inspiring and energetic true stories from a variety of people, including those from our very own Richmond community. You will be delighted and in awe of their courage to stand up and share in front of an audience, and leave the theatre in thought and with a full heart.

Stories have meaning. Stories inspire us. Most importantly, stories bring us together.

This showcase will feature 7-8 storytellers who will have just completed a 2-day workshop with Deborah Williams, the co-founder and Artistic Producer of Vancouver’s wildly popular storytelling series, The Flame.
