Directions: The Lock 3 Viewing platform can be accessed by stairs outdoors or from the elevator located off the main lobby.

Free, and accepts optional pay-what-you-may donations for admission.
Offered in English.
Wheelchair accessible and has gender-neutral washrooms.

Note: Proof of vaccination required to visit this facility, in accordance with the province of Ontario.
Lock 3 Viewing Platform
Take the elevator to the third floor and exit directly onto the Lock 3 Viewing Platform for an up-close and personal view of the lock and the ships that traverse it. Check ship times for the Welland Canal (select 'Welland Lock 3' from the pull-down menu). https://bit.ly/2QqPW3E
The Museum is open daily for 90 minute sessions from:
9 – 10:30 a.m.; 11 a.m.– 12:30 p.m., 1-2:30 p.m. and 3-4:30 p.m.
You are welcome to visit for more than one session. Between sessions visitors must exit to allow enhanced cleaning procedures.

- Masks required for ages 6+ (indoors or outdoors)
- social distancing, adult companion must supervise children
- hand sanitizing & enhanced cleaning procedures
- screening protocols, please stay home if ill
