In-person Design Digital & new media Visual arts

Roll into Tokyo Smoke, we’re celebrating another year of art, design and community. We have teamed up with local artist and creator, Tanea Brown, to bring to you an immersive trip, look, float and feel like a softgel. Alongside this unique installation, we’ve created a custom designed tote with 100% of the profits being donated to Urban Shaman as they celebrate their 25-year anniversary. About the artist: Tanea (she/her) is a local designer and photographer from Winnipeg, MB. She is inspired by nature and wabi-sabi (the Japanese spiritual/design belief of imperfect things.) If she isn’t busy creating you can usually find her outside! Check out more of her work at Instagram: @tanea.design About Urban Shaman: Urban Shaman is an Aboriginal artist-run centre dedicated to meeting the needs of artists by providing a vehicle for artistic expression in all disciplines and at all levels by taking a leadership role in the cultivation of Indigenous art.
