The Devlin and Cook families of Vaughan were early settlers from Ireland who came to the township during the 1820s and 1830s. Both families made significant contributions to the history of the township. Built by Henry Burton, a well-known local mason who built at least 50 farmhouses in Vaughan, this building is now home to the Vaughan Soccer Club.
