About

If you’re looking for an art adventure, Vaughan has 37 public art stops waiting to be explored!

Discover 10 new urbanWILDERNESS series designs, along with 27 favourites from the previous Group of Seven REMIXED and ART of HEALING series.

The urbanWILDERNESS is the 2026 theme for the ARTonBOXES Program. urbanWILDERNESS explores the harmonious integration of natural and built environments – where concrete and steel meet urban green infrastructure, including rewilded parks, trails, wetlands, wildlife habitats, and forest canopies – to support the flora and fauna sharing these spaces.

Ten new original designs themed around urbanWILDERNESS have been installed on traffic signal boxes around Vaughan. More than 125 submissions were received from artists in Vaughan and across the Greater Toronto Area.
