About

Drawing on Jon Colwell’s Indigenous themed murals outside the Scugog Arts Space, filmmaker Cole Stevens-Goulais has created four short films which continue the stories behind the murals.

The films will be available free to the public, accessed through QR codes on site or through the Theatre on the Ridge website. This project has been made possible with the support of the Canada Council for the Arts Digital Now program.

This event is a part of the Ontario Culture Days Regional Hub Program.

Theatre on the Ridge was founded in 2013 by Joan Etienne and Carey Nicholson and is a not-for-profit, professional, collaborative company in which committed artists can produce high-quality work in a broader scope of theatre and storytelling in the Region of Durham. We provide programs/services to audiences, theatre practitioners, and the communities of the Region of Durham.
