Dogwood Forest

Situated in 57 acres of forested private park in Port Perry, ON, Dogwood Forest offers outdoor play & nature-based education, leadership, and mentorship opportunities for children, youth, families, and schools in the Durham Region throughout all seasons. We aspire to promote and nurture the cognitive, physical, social, and emotional development of those we work with through meaningful interactions in the natural environment. Through exploration, inquiry, reflection, environmental stewardship, and community building, we strive to create a positive learning environment rooted in kindness and curiosity. This fosters a sense of belonging, self confidence, self efficacy, and the development of lifelong skills. Building connection to self, to nature, and to community is at the core of all we do. Explore, Learn, Create & Play with Dogwood Forest!
