About
The Oakville Quilters’ Guild was established in 1994 and has a membership of over 100 people
The Guild “provides a place for quilters to find fellowship and opportunities for information sharing, as well as to provide a vehicle for developing workshops, sew and chats and personal development.”
Members include beginner quilters as well as internationally renowned artists. The Guild hosts challenges, blocks-of-the-moth and workshops, and also carries out charitable work such as outreaches and individual causes.
The Oakville Quilters’ Guild motivates fellow quilters to expand their love of quilting by offering inspiration. It also preserves the traditions and culture of quilting and quilt making by introducing this art form to the public.
