About

Visit Queen Elizabeth Park Community and Cultural Centre to view a display of ceramic sculptures made by last year's Halton Region Culture Days Artist Project.

"Harmony in Culture," is a collaborative ceramic mural project designed to celebrate cultural diversity and unity through art. The hand, a universal symbol across cultures, will serve as the foundation. This installation will feature a hand-shaped ceramic mural symbolizing creation, strength, protection, connection, and community. Upon closer inspection, viewers will notice smaller hands, each created by participants from the Halton Region, symbolizing individual contributions to the collective cultural tapestry.

The project was completed for Culture Days 2024 by Yvette Garcia-Mier, Shahrzad Amin, and Lauren Sinett and will be on display for Culture Days 2025.
