The audience will be carried through water, land and air as the 46-piece concert band plays music that creates the soundscape of our heritage composed by a variety of local and Indigenous composers. Listen to how the harmonies of the various instruments create images through sound.

The Oakville Wind Orchestra
The Oakville Wind Orchestra, Canada's longest-continuously operating concert band since 1866, is made up of armature musicians who practice weekly throughout the year. The Oakville Wind Orchestra plays 4-5 annual seasonal events but is best known for its presentation of 6 free summer concerts at the butterfly gazebo at Bronte Heritage Park in Oakville. It is attended by hundreds of followers on Tuesday evenings throughout July and August.
