About
Hanging Out Together is part of the free drop-in program series that runs every Tuesday and Thursday from 10am. to 1pm from mid-September to mid-June, with the aim to bring people with special needs together so that they too feel they are valued members of the community. We provide stimulating social and recreational experiences that challenge the body and the mind. Socially, the members enjoy various games that help them to stay mentally sharp. Recreationally, the members participate in fun-filled excursions, some local and some farther away, that become memories that they will treasure for years to come. Over the years, the program has become a haven for our members.
Organizer

He has dedicated his time to organizing the Hanging Out Together program for the past 17 years, as well as managing the chess and bocce programs. Charles has been an active volunteer for over 40 years. Outside of his community work, he enjoys gardening, traveling, and cherishes time spent with his two children and four grandchildren.
