About
Participants can learn and participate in a variety of board and group games, such as:
Board Games
• Mancala/Ayo – An African strategy game played with stones and pits, known by many names worldwide.
• Carrom – A tabletop game from India played on a smooth square wooden board.
• Ludo / Snakes and Ladders – A global family favorite, originally from India.
• Chinese Checkers – A strategy board game from Asia played around the world.
• Senet – An ancient Egyptian board game, one of the world’s oldest.
• Ddajki – A traditional board game from Asia.
• Gulli Danda – A South Asian stick-and-ball game, ancestor of cricket.
Activities & Group Games
• Chidia Udd, Tota Udd – A reflex game where players act only if the words match the movement.
• Poshampa – A rhythmic Indian children’s game played with song and movement.
• Tokhm Jangi – An Afghan egg-tapping contest of skill and luck.
• Kabaddi – A fast-paced Asian team tag game of strength and strategy.
