About
Enjoy this drawing workshop to celebrate ConNextions, temporary public art installations located in Oakville parks. Led by local artist Tazeen Qayyum, explore techniques and materials used in South Asian traditional miniature painting. Inspired by the Ragamala paintings from the Indian subcontinent, Qayyum’s artwork “Hope is the Thing with Feathers” is currently installed at Trafalgar Memorial Park.
Children must be accompanied/supervised by an adult at all times. One child per adult. For safety, infants are not permitted in arms, carriers, wraps or strollers. Youth 14+ can attend without an adult. All materials will be provided. Pre-registration is required. Age: 6-17
